Remaking One Health (ROH) Indies: Branding
Remaking One Health (ROH) Indies is a research project initiated by scientists at University of Edinburgh, University of Liverpool and University of Western Australia. It combines human geography, history, behavioural ecology, and social psychology to study people-street dog interactions (or Indie dogs, as they are referred to in India), dog ecology, and rabies prevention in urban and rural India in an effort to understand why rabies persists as a public health problem in India. We were tasked with creating a brand identity for this initiative, with the goal of designing a logo that authentically represented the Indian Pariah dog in its native street environment. After exploring multiple iterations, we finalized a design that struck the perfect balance between the essence of the indie dog and the initiative's focus.
