Ecotism was a weekly cartoon strip I created, published every Sunday in The Hindu, one of India’s most respected and widely-read English newspapers, known for its credible journalism and in-depth coverage of national and global issues. The idea for Ecotism was pitched to the newspaper and was published from February 2017 to February 2019, completing a run of 102 strips. The series focused exclusively on sustainable development challenges in India, using humor and satire to highlight critical environmental issues.
