G.V Scheme School: Informative Wall Painting
As part of our studio’s Summer Social Initiative, we decided to paint a nearby school wall to create awareness about the lesser-known wildlife of our city. G.V. Scheme School in Mulund, Mumbai, offered a 400-square-foot compound wall as the canvas for this project. We invited volunteers to join us and help make this initiative a reality.
We depicted various species such as the Bamboo Pit Viper Snake, Red Silk Cotton Flower, Crimson Backed Sunbird, Hanuman Langur, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Painted Stork, Karvi Flower, and Small Indian Civet. To ensure inclusivity and engagement, we added informative text about these species in both English and Marathi, helping more people learn about the city's unique biodiversity.
